Highlights of 2016

"Then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind."

Philippians 2:2 Thanking God for each of you who have supported and prayed for me, this ministry in whatever capacity. The Lord is always faithful in everything we do! In 2016, there were several opportunities to travel specifically for the Deaf ministry. The most notable trip was the National Deaf Culture Fellowship Convention that was held in June at Evangel University in Springfield, MO. Pastors and ministry workers, both deaf and hearing gathered from all across the US to worship together in one place and in one accord. It truly felt like what it must have felt like in the day of the book of Acts. I’m thrilled that in 2018 the University of Valley Forge will be the location of next National Convention so that our local people will be able to take part in this great gathering. Included are pictures of some of the highlighted events of this past year. My prayer is that through each event and opportunity that God would pour His Spirit on the Deaf in NJ and across the USA.

GRADUATION – MAY 2016 Alexis Colon, a Deaf student from NJ graduated from University of Valley Forge this year. She and her family have moved to Tennessee. Looking forward to see how God uses her in the ministry. It was a blessing to have the opportunity interpret and be a part of the graduation ceremony.

There are 850,000 Deaf and Hard of Hearing persons in NJ alone? Only about 2% of that 850,000 number attend church. Statistics from the Division of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (www.nj.gov/humanservices/ddhh/home/)
